Birches have begun dropping leaves already and maples are starting to turn coat. The days are so warm that it still feels a bit like summer. Fall however seems determined to reclaim to the season and overnight the leaves have turned yellow, orange and red. I openly admit my affection for any plant that will work for blooms only to lose them a short while later, then turn around the next day and do it again. We have several types of salvia, and also the oak acorns which I'd been thinking of as oakcorn, they POP! underfoot so.
