I love that plant - just was officially introduced to it at Jenny's last go-go and she gave me some seeds. I've been making lists and double, triple, quadruple checking them before purchasing so I don't overbuy or buy things on a whim. I think I've got it all narrowed down and expect to make a few purchases this week.Margueritehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14377516887669269657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7527178868601047846.post-9069386252408227702012-05-13T08:24:53.222-05:002012-05-13T08:24:53.222-05:00Thanks for all your prayers for Texas, Casa. I'm in a farming community west of San Antonio and they have changed crops the past few years from corn to cotton and sunflowers. Those poor sunflowers looked awful after the wind and rain this week !

Love that mallow ! Where did you get that and the monarda ? Some wonderful nursery in Austin, I guess ? I want to come up one day just to visit all the garden centers !

I haven't had to buy ruby grass in years ! It always comes back somewhere. And yes, it does seem to like my gravel walkways much better than the soil in the raised beds. I let them stay wherever they come up. They are SO pretty !Pattyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14980646848805011625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7527178868601047846.post-2153396337681600212012-05-12T08:14:54.116-05:002012-05-12T08:14:54.116-05:00Lovely flowers....as you know I am adding more nat...Lovely flowers....as you know I am adding more natives especially trees and shrubs. It doesn't like rich soils, so it might not be happy in my garden bed. And I am growing asters for the first time... such an easy native it's a surprise I've never grown them before.
