The rain was good, just a bit too much, a bit too quickly. I didn't have any escaped mulch or other problems, but things are very wet today! Better than what we had last summer, though.
While we are all thrilled to have this rain, the drought still has a firm grip on this state. The heaviest rains were to the south and east so the lakes received very little rain. I pray February will be as wet or wetter than January.
Gurgle, gurgle, bubble, drip, slosh. Yay! Drinks for all.

ReplyDelete@Amy, Oh no! Did you see a lot of the other South Austin gardeners got 5+". Wish it had been over the lakes...but not gonna complain. Just happy!
