The sunsets lately have been really beautiful and you caught this one just at the right time. I'm pretty excited about it staying light a little longer so I can enjoy the sunset after work.
ReplyDeleteSo true! One day it is Spring, the next we are back to Winter. Your pictures are gorgeous:)
ReplyDeleteWell-taken sunset photo. Spring is like that - a summery day, a winters day, wet day, dry day.... and all the so-called "signs of spring" always come at different times between February and June!
ReplyDeleteLovely Cat!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. I definitely have to tell K. about the carrots ;-) I woke up to a nasty surprise: snow, snow, snow :( Thought we were done with that.
ReplyDeleteLovely pics of winter fading to spring...
ReplyDeleteThat's the type of garden plot I need to get: it produces *immediately*! :-)
ReplyDeleteI hope your rain gauge gets a lot of use!
ReplyDeleteThat's funny we both spotted the same new blooms. :)
you definitely have some 'spring' things in there! we're ready now. :)
ReplyDeleteThe sunsets have been so beautiful lately.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I love the Mountain Laurel.
I'm anxious for spring and all that it brings. Can't be far away when the mountain laurels are blooming. Yippie!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear y'all are getting some nice rain. I miss the mountain laurels. Sniff one for me?
ReplyDeleteIt's supposed to be 70 here on Thurs, which is beyond bizarre. I just hope March isn't freezing or I'm going to have a really confused garden. Great pix! :o)
ReplyDeleteOh, the Mt. Laurel! I can smell it from here :-) Wonderful rain lately, isn't it!!!
ReplyDeleteThe mountain laurel is lovely. Interesting looking flowers too - it looks like they curl in on themselves. Does it have a fragrance?
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that your daughter is following in your footsteps! My daughter is studying Horticulture at Clemson and we have lengthy conversations about plants...something I never imagined when she was little and didn't want to get her hands dirty!
ReplyDeleteI love that striped sunset! We are still stuck in winter in Maine.
ReplyDeleteCarrots already! How wonderful! Your iPhone photos are great--you must have a 4? I still have a 3, which only gives me 3 megapixels. Those are beautiful shots! Happy spring!
ReplyDelete@plantpostings. I have a 3 too. I use camera+. You can download the app and you'll have more flexibility with editing your photos. It's easy to use.
ReplyDeleteWhat a happy post! Those carrots look delicious.
ReplyDeleteHi Cat, Isn't it touching that your daughter is following in your gardening footsteps!
ReplyDeleteSpring is still a long way off here in Ontario. For now, I will have to content myself with admiring your mountain laurel image. That iphone takes pretty amazing shots!
@Patty, it smells like the most amazing grape bubblegum! Heavenly!
ReplyDelete@Karin and Jennifer, yes, it was a proud moment when she told me she was going to get a plot at her local community garden! My heart literally swelled!
Lovely looking carrots...
