Look at the trees, look at the birds, look at the clouds,
look at the stars...
and if you have eyes you will be able to see that the whole existence is joyful.
Everything is simply happy. Trees are happy for no reason; they are not going to become prime ministers or presidents and they are not going to become rich
and they will never have any bank balance.
Look at the flowers - for no reason.
It is simply unbelievable how happy flowers are.
~Osho

ReplyDeleteJust Beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteI have such trouble photographing flowers that are dripping wet like that, they just seem sodden. and yet you've managed beautifully. Such a talent you are.
ReplyDeleteThanks all! These shots were taken during a quick visit to the Wildflower Center yesterday...more wildflower posts to come!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots! These look like the pink sundrops (Oenathera) that took over an entire garden bed and had to be removed by hand, root by root. I prefer to keep mine safely tucked away in computer land!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Cat. Always a pleasure to wake up and see such beauty on a rainy, gray day. Such fine words about looking and seeing.
ReplyDeleteCat, thanks for stopping by my blog -- I'm very happy to have found yours. Your pictures are wonderful and I look forward to exploring your past posts.
ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful and yes, simply joyful.
ReplyDeleteConsider the primroses of the garden; they neither toil nor spin ... (with a little licence).
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots, Cat - love those drops and the soft colours !

Did you recognize the water lily in my new header? ;-) I "stole" a glimpse of it ;-)
Take care, Sandra
Now I know what they are called. I loved how they covered big areas right next to the highway. And I took pics of them at Zilker Park. Love how the sun shines right through them.

Stunning, absolutely beautiful. Water drops makes it even more delicate. Enjoy and thank's for giving us this beauty, here is SO ugly (dirty snow everywhere).
