The day the Lord created hope was probably the same day he created Spring.

  1. Beautiful! Does the face of the Swallowtail caterpillar remind you of the face of an old man or is it just me? Ha! Lovely post. Hope you are having a good week.

  2. Ha! That's funny, Steph. Did you notice his fuzzy little muzzle? He was gone this morning .... hope he found a safe place to transform.

  6. I like the quote, and of course the photos. I have never seen that caterpillar in person, yet.

  7. So true. I always feel incredibly hopeful in the spring. The caterpillars have been nibbling away at my parsley and fennel. They are so much fun to check on.

  8. Exquisite, Cat. Such a gentle shade of yellow, too. The best kind of hope. Simple pleasures are the best. Happy spring!

  11. That's too wise not to be true. :o) Spring feels like a gift after winter. Too early here for caterpillars but I saw a white skipper! Woo-hoo!

  17. What a great quote - and beautiful photographs. Very welcome here, where Spring is still rather laggerdly.

Piglet sidled up to Pooh from behind.
"Pooh!" he whispered.
"Yes, Piglet?"
"Nothing," said Piglet, taking Pooh's paw. "I just wanted to be sure of you."
