Hey Cat, looking at those pics I cant wait to go on a photo tour with you. Almost everyone can take a pretty picture of a pretty flower but I'm excited about finding the beauty of the Texas Winter! Yay for the rain!
I never really appreciate rain until I started gardening. Glad you got some in your parts. The more pictures I see of the walking trails near your home, the more envious I get! Looks so peaceful.
The rain was wonderful, wasn't it? We had about the same amount. Not enough, but will have to do for now. Your trail does look like a good place for finding beauty in all the seasons.
Bumble Lush, there are about 20 miles of trails around here and they are one of the reasons we love living here so much. I grew up in your neck of the woods though and more than anything else, I miss the unmistakable distinctions between the seasons; especially fall.
Deszcz by się przydał, ale od jesieni przyroda nie ucieknie. Pozdrawiam

ReplyDeleteGreat to hear you got your rain! And I'm grateful for the blue skies that have come our way to dry out our muddy trails.

ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how 2/10ths of an inch of rain can be so wonderful! But it really is right now.
ReplyDeleteOh now, that DOES look parched ! Would be interesting to see whether the 2/10" of rain made any difference. Lovely, simple beauty in your first shot !
ReplyDeleteNow that I have a good (actually, amazing !) internet connection, I'll need to come back here and catch up on your blog, Cat.
Hurrah! I can almost hear the ground sighing with relief from here...
