Beautiful shot of a yaupon holly, Cat! They are so lovely this time of year. And I so agree with your quote: The angels do talk to you when you go for a walk.
Dear Carol, Thank you. I've never framed any of my images but this one is a personal favorite. I'm thinking it would be nice printed on canvas and displayed.
Dear Janet, yes, that is what blogging is all about...living vicariously as times. Stay warm!
Thank you Diane, I think part of hearing God is just being quiet enough and listening!
Thank you Abbey. I'm so glad you enjoyed your visit here and that it helped to start your day off with a smile.
Thanks Donna...I wish I could paint, but since I don't, I will have to settle for photographs ;) Maybe someday I will find the time to learn to paint...yours are inspiring ;)
Thanks Martha ;)
Thanks Margie - hugs back to you!
Thank you Laurrie and Miss Becky...your kinds words are much appreciated ;)
I whole-heartedly agree with your quote. Angels really do whisper to a man (or woman) when he/she goes for a walk. It helps us appreciate nature and the creator of this beautiful world. That is one of my favorite things to do.
So very beautiful! I love the feeling of open space, of being somewhere wild, but of almost not being there at all. The thin wooden fence makes everything seem temporary. This is coming from someone whose closest neighbor is 15 ft away...
Your photo could be an oil painting! A winter walk can be a beautiful, as well as invigorating, experience. And here, this time of year, signs of spring are beginning to pop out. So it is also very exciting and gets those gardening juices flowing!
If this were a print, I'd buy it. Seriously!!! Have you ever thought of selling your photos as art? This would be amazing printed on canvas and framed. It would be perfect!!!
Beautiful composition Cat!! Pure poetry. I love the quality of this . . . has a print like feeling. Have a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteI'll settle for going on your walk instead, it is too grey and damp and dull to entice me outside today. I will live vicariously...

ReplyDeleteThat image is so stunning it does not need words. I like how you used natural colors with Photoshop for an old photo/painting feel.
ReplyDeleteInspiring words to accompany a stunning scene!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty scene. Why don't I have one of those?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo! very inviting for that walk your quote mentions

ReplyDeleteThe possumhaws are really revving up, aren't they? Congrats on your GGW mention, BTW!
ReplyDeleteLove the texture ! Great colour and contrast. A beautiful shot Cat.
ReplyDeleteAnd a wonderful quote (although a person should really have his/her eyes 'open' and not be burdened down by the things of the world).
Lovely, both quote and photo, memorable ... right on :)
ReplyDeleteYou take such wonderful photos and this one is no exception. That tree and the whole frame is gorgeous!
