Interesting shot~ I always try to keep myself out of the photo but I really like yours with you in it!! Very cool!! However, I do have a lot of pix that include my finger. Yep, I'm super talented like that!!
@all, this photo was taken in the desert of Big Bend. Fer, it is very close to the border of Mexico so not far from your home ;) It was a beautiful autumn day - if memory serves, probably 50 degrees or so but the dry desert air and abundant sunshine made it feel much warmer! I'm longing for those warms days too - it's very cold here in Austin of late.
Wow Cat! What a landscape to finds one's shadow in! Glorious! What radiant land this country is made up of. Thank goodness too we are thoughtful enough to protect it, though keeping it that way is a constant battle. Stunning photograph!
I'm always trying to take photos and keep my shadow out of them, and here you capitalized on it. Love it! P.S. I can finally feel my mouth again after the shrimp! Tee hee :-)
Very cool, Cat. If you are looking for a second career, photography (and writing) might be it for you. Your photos are beautiful! I'm grateful for your sharing them :)
Well - you, your shadow, and a beautiful scene - a gorgeous sky and awesome landscape !
