Love it. ANTICIPATION was my word for today, too (Hope Grows post). I was at a client's today and her son had a little anole just sitting on his hand! I was amazed. Thanks for your sweet comment on my post-surgery post. It is a privilege and a blessing to pray for each other, isn't it? Thank you for your prayers. Remembering you in mine :-)
Hi Cat - a fantastic combo and nicely entitled. Love the streamlined similarity between them not to mention all that detail. Up to your usual superb shot standards :) Laura
I love that you can see the tiny hairs on the columbine. Great shot. I saw my yard's first 2011 lizard a few weeks ago. It was still chilly out so I was able to get a good at him while he sunbathed.
I see you have some helpful garden friends to keep the bug population down. Spring to me is "anticipation!" Enjoy your spring weather! Ours will be coming in another month or two...so the anticipation continues!
oh I love those anoles. We don't have anything similar here in the north but I remember travelling to Indonesia once and finding little critters like this in my luggage. I think they're quite delightful.
Your sunlit flowers are stunning in this and the previous post. And what a handsome long nosed green fellow! I love the blush of turquoise around his dark eye.
Thank you all for commenting. The green anole is making himself comfortable and making the garden his home! The columbine are blooming now and much is coming alive! Yippee!

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful colored lizard, we don't have that kind of lizards. I don't like them so much but that is gorgeous or should I say handsome:)
