Breaking News!!!!

It rained!  It rained!  It rained!

Moisture tracking through from the coast of Louisiana...30% chance of rain through tomorrow evening.  81F at the moment.  Oh, happy day!

  4. I can relate... I don't know how long since it had rained for you, but we got a half inch after four weeks of no moisture and I was ecstatic! Larry

    Glad you had some rain! You are quite welcome to have some of ours, it hasn`t stopped raining here for most of July, still we had such a dry Spring we needed it. Yesterday it rained so much that over 400 litres of water was put into my water butts!

  23. Thanks all for celebrating this wonderful, although short lived, rain!! This photo was completely spontaneous making it that much more special to me. Even though they are growing up, they aren't too old to play!

    @PatioPatch...oh, how I would love to feel some autumnal temps right about now! Gonna have to go on vacation for that!

    No, no new camera but I've been trying to improve my skills so a big, heartfelt thank you for noticing!!

  26. @Sandra, it was spotty...some got up to .5 inches, others nothing. We ended up with 1/10th to 2/10ths - not much. But man did it smell good! Sorry K didn't get his share.
