School Looms ~ Summer Hiatus

And thank you for a house full of people I love.  Amen.

Summer is moving by at a rapid clip and our household is a twitter...school starts in a couple of weeks and there is so much to be done.  My oldest is off to college and dorm decor is high on our priority list!  I'll be taking a short break from blogging to focus more time and energy on family.  I'll be seeing y'all in the garden soon!

  1. Enjoy the moments with your family. I hope the college move goes well. I know this can be an emotional time. I'm sure you are excited for your daughter, though. The garden will be there. Take care.

It kind of resembles Kindergarten and being excited for them growing up, but you also have a few tissues in your pocket. Take care and enjoy!

  22. i've been on "break" for similar reasons. i fly with my son up to washington state tomorrow to deliver him at his wonderful new college digs. i'm trying to think of a better word than "empty nest." "open nest"? maybe when i don't feel so emotional i can come up with something witty and hopeful! right now, and there's just no denying it, i'm just plain :(
best of luck to you and your college bound child!! savor the moment! (pack light!)
