We Have Owls!


We've fallen completely and unabashedly in LOVE, I tell ya!   An Eastern Screech Owl couple has moved in and they are the cutest things ever!





I just captured this shot this evening and had to share!  It's late and I'm off to the Master Gardener's demo garden bright and early so must get to bed but I'll post more about the Eastern Screech Owl's habits soon.

  4. Oh Cat, I am so jealous and so happy for you! Do you remember that I said that I am dreaming of seeing a real owl in real life? Well, good to know where I can go now to fulfill that dream ;-) That pic is just to cute. I have pigeons nesting infront of my kitchen window.

  8. Congratulations! Owls are so beautiful and amazing to observe. I have my little owl couple back as well--I's excited. Just wait till you see those babies--the definition of cute.

  20. Wonderful! I have been trying to get a photo of the great horned owl that is in the nearby woodland and have not had much luck. This is such a great owl house....
