Schwartzberg's photography, especially of those flowers opening, is stunning. Inspiring words too. I love the TED talks. You are reminding me that I have one to share on my blog too. Thanks so much for sharing this one with us!
I decided a long time ago that everything I did was a choice except accepting the consequences of my choices because not accepting them wasn't an option. I live in an area of profound entitlement and yet am grateful just to wake up in the US, have a house, a job, health, and a wonderful family/career. Millions of people would trade places with me in an instant if they could. I don't always get what I want but I'm grateful I have everything I need. Hang in there, Cat. :o)
Oh My God Cat...you have touched me deeply with this at a time that I needed it...you have lifted me from my darkness to see the light in such a different way...blessings and love to you and big giant smile is all I can send in return. Thank you....
May we never lose our sense of wonder at everything each new day offers. Today I am grateful for you Ms. Cat and your blogging, which brings smiles and tears and a reminder to stay fully alive and fully present in each moment, no matter what it carries...
That's one of my all-time favorites, and a great reminder to treasure each day, each person, each moment, and each experience. Thanks for sharing, Cat!
Beautiful. I needed that. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteGratitude is tough sometimes, but it is probably the most healing way to regard life.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. It is SO important to greet each day with a grateful heart. Thank you for posting this and reminding me.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great video. Always good to remember that we have a choice how we approach each day.
