30 Day Challenge ~ Thanksgiving ~ Day 6

I'm so excited and full of anticipation for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday and having my house full of the sounds of my children and their friends.  While I'm really grateful that my daughter is enjoying
her college experience, I miss her.

  3. Thanksgiving will be here before we know it. What a great time you will all have then! I know what you mean about missing your daughter, I miss my son, too. It sure is hard to let them go, but we have to. (I guess.)

  4. We do miss the kids, when they're off somewhere far away.

We're on the second generation of that, here, with some grandchildren off to college, and other younger ones far away, in other states.

    They grow up so fast.

  5. I'm right there with you in the "missing" department, Cat. I have a son serving a mission for our church in Sweden... so far away.

  13. Your children are beautiful, Cat. Yes, it's hard when they leave. But you know you've done your job as a parent. And that is something to be grateful for.

  14. I was thinking of you recently and thought of your daughter off to school. I remember my first Thanksgiving at home my freshman year was possibly the best ever!

Piglet sidled up to Pooh from behind.
"Pooh!" he whispered.
"Yes, Piglet?"
"Nothing," said Piglet, taking Pooh's paw. "I just wanted to be sure of you."
