I'm so excited and full of anticipation for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday and having my house full of the sounds of my children and their friends. While I'm really grateful that my daughter is enjoying
Thanksgiving will be here before we know it. What a great time you will all have then! I know what you mean about missing your daughter, I miss my son, too. It sure is hard to let them go, but we have to. (I guess.)
(Boy, it's nice to be back on the Blogosphere! Our computer has been dedicated to 'early college applications', for my youngest. Next fall is going to be a tough one...)
Great photo of your kids! It is so hard when they are away so we have to savor the moments when they return home. I bet you are counting down the days!
Cat how lovely...I make sure I visit my family at Thanksgiving...it is a special time of year and I only get to see them once a yr due to the distance...
Your children are beautiful, Cat. Yes, it's hard when they leave. But you know you've done your job as a parent. And that is something to be grateful for.
I was thinking of you recently and thought of your daughter off to school. I remember my first Thanksgiving at home my freshman year was possibly the best ever!
That's a great photo. I'm sure you are all looking forward to being together.
ReplyDeletethank you Cat for your inspiration and challenge. I've been without technology for two weeks and I'm thankful I am back.

ReplyDeleteWe do miss the kids, when they're off somewhere far away.
ReplyDeleteWe're on the second generation of that, here, with some grandchildren off to college, and other younger ones far away, in other states.
They grow up so fast.
I'm right there with you in the "missing" department, Cat. I have a son serving a mission for our church in Sweden... so far away.
ReplyDeleteSUCH a great photo; such a cool meme.
