30 Day Challenge ~ Thanksgiving ~ Days 3 & 4

First, I want to express my gratitude for all of you who have accepted this challenge at such a busy time of the year.   I'm going to look into adding Mr. Linky so we can all see the posts of those who have accepted the challenge.  Some have put their own spin on the challenge which is great.  It is open to interpretation...the goal was simply to inspire change.

The decision to accept this challenge was made at 11:45 pm.  Let that be a lesson to me...I shouldn't make any serious commitments at such a late hour!  Seriously though, a challenge isn't worth doing if it doesn't take some effort and change attitudes.  A challenge, by nature, isn't convenient!

Because I started the challenge so late in the evening, I find myself lagging a bit behind because of posting so late on the first night.  Today I'll add days three and four to catch up so I can begin posting in the morning again.

Today I'm thankful for the playful signs of curious, creative children.

Thanksgiving ~ Day 4

Today I'm thankful for the colorful, falling leaves of autumn.  There were times during this eventful summer that I thought fall would never show its lovely face.

  1. Good ones.
I was a little afraid there would be no leaves by this fall. Yours are a lovely color.
    Have a good weekend.

  2. Yes, the creative minds of children are a treasure to behold! Lovely shots of the leaves. They are really coming down now! I may have to do a "catch up" post too. I am only on Day 2 today as I started late. :)

  3. Pretty fall leaves! I am not sure why I put that I am on day 3. I was just following your lead. Maybe the first day I was just "thinking" about it. Oh, well give or take a few..doesn't matter. :) Have a good weekend, Cat!

  4. I appreciate your focus on thankfulness. My schedule is too full to consider posting every day, but I have much to be thankful for - blessings big and small...little miracles that remind me that I am not alone.

I'm enjoying the challenge, funny to read your post today because after my initial enthusiasm and first post I realized it ain't as easy as I thought it would be!!! Hehe, but like you say, a 'challenge' isn't meant to be easy!
