It's Quiet...

Life slows down...just for a moment.

A clean slate...

and new perspectives....

it's quiet...just for a moment.

Some time to reflect on the gift of an unexpected snow day.

A peaceful early morning walk with my husband and our joyful companion while the children sleep.

And now as we return home the house is filled with sunshine and the laughter of children and the aroma of pancakes...it's quiet no more!  Life is good.

  2. What beautiful photos of your snow! Your kids made breakfast? How wonderful! Mine would be sleeping until at least noon. It would be more like brunch, LOL!

  9. It does seem quieter when it snows, doesn't it -- and romantic :-) How sweet that you got to take a walk with your hubby. I have thoroughly enjoyed my little hibernation time while the snow piles up outside. Beautiful pictures -- they quiet the soul :-)

@Lancashire Rose, No Jenny I haven't had the courage to sign up for the GAGG...it's all a bit intimidating to me but I will get my nerve up eventually...if anything, just to have Philip draw a picture for me!

  19. Even though snow and cold can be such a nuisance when you've just experienced AND expect warmth, it does make for pretty scenes. And you've captured beauties here Cat ! Enjoy it while you can.
